Home Energy Assessment
What we do
We work with you to check every appliance in your home. We note how much power each item uses and give you an expected cost to run each item per hour. You can then decide how best to use those items in the future.
The home energy assessment will also help you make informed choices when you need to replace or upgrade any items of equipment in your home.
Our whole home energy assessment service costs £75. We expect most homes to save up to £500 per year. IF WE CANNOT SAVE YOU MONEY, WE WILL NOT CHARGE YOU FOR OUR SERVICE.
We are a Social Enterprise and spend 50% of our profits on Community energy projects.
Your Heating System and Controls
We will check the size and type of radiators you have to make sure they are the right size for each room. If you need to replace any radiators in the future, the home energy assessment will show you what you need to heat each room efficiently.
We look at what type of radiator valves and central heating controls you have. The home energy assessment will list possible improvements you can make to get your central heating system work better, keeping you warm, and importantly saving you money.
We will look at what lighting you have inside and outside your home. Our home energy assessment will list possible improvements you can make. We will detail costs and importantly how long it will take for any money spent, to be saved by reduced spending on your electricity bill.
Unlike many other Companies we don’t just want to sell you products. We want you to be able to make the best choices for your needs. We can offer and fit central heating boiler controls and radiator valves for you. But you are under no obligation to buy anything.
Your Electrical System
Our home energy assessment will look at your electrical system to make sure you have all items needed for your safety at home. The Electrical Visual Condition Report will show any items you may need. We will list anything you may need and offer free advice on what can be done to improve electrical safety in your home.
Your Water Supply
Our home energy assessment will look at your bath, shower, toilet, wash basins and sinks to check how much water you use. We will also look at your water using devices such as washing machine and dish washer to see how much water you use and offer advice on ways to save water.
Your Utility Bills
We will check how much you have spent on gas/oil, electricity and water to see if you are spending more than average. We can help you choose energy providers to make sure you are getting the best deal.
We are here for information and advice to help save you money and make the world a better place.
